  • Tests are done in parallel to speed up the process
  • Each test makes a single HTTP request to the Plex API
  • Results are saved temporarily and cleaned up automatically

Troubleshooting

If you get permission errors:

chmod +x test_eae_versions.sh
chmod +x test_eae_simple.sh

If curl is not found:

sudo apt-get install curl # Ubuntu/Debian

Running on Ubuntu

  1. Copy the scripts to your Ubuntu box
  2. Make them executable: chmod +x *.sh
  3. Run: ./test_eae_versions.sh 2001 5000 20

The script will systematically test versions and report any that are available.
